My mind, and the places it goes

For someone who writes professionally (I'm a technical writer by day), I have a heck of a time figuring out what to write in these mini-biography thingies. Oh - that reminds me of my (current) favorite button: "Some people have a way with words and some people...um, thingy." I'll probably come back and change this over time. Though my webpage has listed me as "Linguist and stuff" for 8 years now.
